Flow switch type IIIa
III, IIIa type flow switch pipe section connection size DN15 (1/2 inch) or DN20 (3/4 inch), the switch part is made of brass alloy and the inside is made of stainless steel. The IIIa type switch uses an epoxy plastic composite plate component to protect the sensor. The flow switch contains a spring-loaded, calibrated disc. When fluid passes through, the disc is lifted. The shaft supporting the disc is connected to a lever for mechanical transmission, causing the microswitch to be triggered at a preset flow value. Once the microswitch is triggered, it starts the pump or opens the valve. The flow increases, and the flow area also increases. The increased flow can push the disc to the fully open position. The maximum flow is only limited by the pump's water output capacity and the pressure drop acceptable for the specific application. Key applications: Dry pump protection, low flow alarm in cooling circuits, freeze protection in heating pump systems, heating protection tools in induction heating devices.
