Target flow switch
Target flow switches can be seen in various pipeline systems Target flow switch However, inaccurate measurements may occur during use. This requires consideration of installation, daily use, and the quality of the target flow switch. Let's discuss the possible causes of inaccurate measurements in target flow switches.
One, Target flow switch It should be installed on a horizontal pipe, with a straight pipe section 10 times the pipe diameter upstream and a straight pipe section 5 times the pipe diameter downstream. If installed on a vertical pipe, the gravity of the target itself will cause incorrect operation of the switch. If installed near local resistance, the sudden change in water flow velocity and direction will cause uneven water flow through the target, affecting the accuracy of flow detection. During installation, ensure that the plane of the target plate is perpendicular to the direction of water flow. Target flow switches are usually fixed using threaded connections. A common problem is that after the target is screwed into the interface, it is not perpendicular to the flow direction, reducing the impact force of the water flow on the target and preventing accurate flow rate detection. This problem can be avoided by marking the position of the interface before installing the target.
Two, When used in air compressors, the cooling water system sometimes mixes with air. When bubbles pass through the target, the momentum is weakened, and the instantaneous reset of the target sends incorrect flow information to the air compressor, causing the air compressor to alarm and stop. A very small amount of air mixed together will not affect the flow of cooling water. To prevent this detection error, the target flow switch should be used with a delay relay to delay the execution of the air compressor water cut-off protection.
Three, If the target flow switch does not work, the equipment cannot start because the impact force on the target flow plate is too small, and the displacement is not enough to close the normally closed contact of the switch. Especially in the case of large diameter and low flow rate, additional target plates can be used. This area is used for flow control. This problem is often caused by the large diameter of the target and the relatively small size of the target.
The above are several situations where inaccurate measurements occur when using Target flow switch Therefore, attention should be paid to these aspects during the installation, debugging, and daily maintenance of the target flow switch to ensure a longer service life and accurate measurement in the pipeline system.
