Target flow switch
Target Flow Switch It is a type of mechanical flow switch, also known as a vane flow switch. A target flow switch is a type of mechanical flow switch, also known as a vane flow switch. When the fluid rushes towards the vane, the vane swings, changing the relative position of the magnet and the reed switch, triggering the switch to close or open. Once the fluid is interrupted, the vane returns to its starting position, triggering the reed switch again. The mutual repulsion of the two magnets provides the force required for the flow switch to reset, and the switch returns to its previous state.
Target flow switches can be used to automatically protect equipment and piping systems from damage caused by reduced or lost flow. Used to detect unidirectional or bidirectional flow of air, oil, and water; the medium should not contain winding debris. When fluid flows through the pipe, the baffle deflects, and by adjusting the adjusting bolt, the SPDT microswitch operates at the set flow rate, outputting a switch signal; for bidirectional detection, the baffle offset pushes the magnetic module upward, driving the switch module to operate. Regarding Target Flow Switch correct installation, we can refer to the following content:
1. The flow switch can be installed in a horizontal pipe or a vertical pipe with the fluid flowing upwards, but not in a pipe with the fluid flowing downwards. When installed in a pipe with the fluid flowing upwards, consider the influence of gravity.
2. The target flow switch must be installed on a branch pipe with a straight run of at least 5 times the pipe diameter on both sides, and the fluid flow direction in the pipe must be consistent with the direction of the arrow on the switch housing. The terminal block should be in an easily accessible location.
3. When installing the wiring, please note the following:
① Do not allow the wrench to collide with the bottom plate of the switch, causing the flow switch to deform and fail;
② To avoid contact damage to the equipment, the power should be cut off during wiring or debugging;
③ When wiring, do not adjust the microswitch terminal block or other screws except the grounding screw. Also note that when wiring the microswitch, do not use excessive force, otherwise, the microswitch itself may shift, causing the flow switch to fail;
④ Wiring must use a dedicated grounding screw, and the mounting screws cannot be arbitrarily removed and installed, otherwise, the controller will deform and fail;
Target Flow Switch The target plate cannot contact the inner wall of the pipe or other flow restrictors in the pipe, otherwise, the switch may not be able to reset normally.
