What are the failure problems of soil pressure sensors?

Earth pressure sensor is an important sensor device capable of measuring earth pressure and studying soil mechanics. The structure of this device is relatively simple and its operation is very convenient. When using it, everyone should strictly follow the specified requirements for operation. If operated improperly, many fault problems will occur. Today, let's specifically introduce the common fault problems of earth pressure sensors.
1. Piston fault. Piston fault of earth pressure sensors is one of the common problems. If the piston is found to be offset during detection, it will cause the piston to jam, thus preventing the earth pressure sensor from detecting the true earth pressure. If the piston is exposed too much, it will also make the earth pressure sensor too sensitive, showing excessive fluctuations in earth pressure. If the piston is largely exposed and subjected to eccentric pressure, it will also cause the piston to jam.
2. Electrical fault. If gas welding or electric welding operations are performed near the earth pressure sensor, it will affect the electronic components and seals inside the earth pressure sensor, leading to inaccurate displayed values. If you find that the measured value displayed by the earth pressure sensor differs too much from the theoretical value, it indicates that the earth pressure sensor has a fault.
3. Synthetic oil problem. If the synthetic oil in the sealed chamber of the earth pressure sensor deteriorates, its ability to conduct pressure will decrease. If there is insufficient oil, the earth pressure cannot be transmitted accurately, which will cause the diaphragm's deformation and the force it receives to be disproportional, thereby making the values displayed by the earth pressure sensor inaccurate.
