More and more companies are now using flow meters. Flow meters are very precise measuring instruments. To obtain accurate measurement results, in addition to correct installation, the method of use must also be considered. Today, eletta will specifically introduce the issues that should be noted when using flow meters from flow meter manufacturers.
1. When performing water flow calibration, the flow meter can display the signal status and sound velocity in real time. However, during operation, if the displayed sound velocity is inconsistent with the actual velocity, especially when the difference is significant, it indicates that the pipeline parameter settings are inaccurate and unreasonable. Therefore, the flow meter manufacturer recommends that you promptly check the pipeline parameters and compare and analyze whether there are deviations between the pipeline parameters and the actual data.
2. When using a flow meter for calibration, if the signal level is found to be low, the flow meter manufacturer believes that the effect of the transducer should be checked to see if its effect has deteriorated. This requires further observation and detection of the transducer to see if its installation is reasonable; if signal abnormalities occur during calibration, it may also be due to interference sources in the surrounding environment. This requires observation and understanding of the surrounding environment. The flow meter should be placed away from strong magnetic fields and interference sources; otherwise, the flow meter cannot obtain an accurate detection result.
When using a flow meter, pay attention to the above content, especially the sound velocity and signal aspects. If any abnormalities are found, they should be handled promptly. In addition, attention should be paid to the existence of zero drift, which can cause significant errors in the flow meter calibration results. To reduce errors, zero drift should be avoided as much as possible. Consult the flow meter manufacturer for details.
