Why are there errors in the measurement of imported orifice flow meters?

Imported orifice flowmeters are now widely used because of their broad applications. However, some users encounter errors when using them. So, why do errors occur in imported orifice flowmeter measurements? Today, Eletta will provide a detailed explanation.
1. Scaling or deformation occurs. If we find that an imported orifice flowmeter has deformation or scaling during use, errors will appear in the measurement process. If the inner surface of the imported orifice flowmeter scales, its opening size will become very small, making measurements inaccurate. If the staff lacks strong responsibility during the transportation and installation of the imported orifice flowmeter, it may cause deformation, leading to low measurement accuracy as well.
2. Misalignment between the pipe and the orifice. If, due to staff error during the assembly of the imported orifice flowmeter, its orifice and pipe are not concentric, measurement errors are also likely to occur.
3. Water accumulation in the pipeline. If there is water accumulation in the pipeline of the imported orifice flowmeter, it will change the geometric characteristics of the device, thereby affecting the accuracy of the imported orifice flowmeter's measurement.
4. The orifice flange gasket protrudes into the pipe, or the upstream and downstream faces of the orifice plate are damaged. If the imported orifice flowmeter has these problems, measurement errors will also occur. This aspect is mainly due to problems arising during transportation and installation.
It is clear that errors in imported orifice flowmeter measurements are caused by multiple factors, possibly due to damage to the meter itself, such as deformation, or improper installation. For these situations, we need to carefully conduct checks to prevent measurement errors.
