There are many types of flow switches. To choose a suitable flow switch, you need to understand not only the flow switch manufacturer but also the different types of flow switches before purchasing. Below, the flow switch manufacturer will introduce three common types of flow switches.
1. Vane-type flow switch
A vane-type flow switch uses the force of water flow to drive the vane to test whether the liquid in the pipe is flowing.
2. Thermal flow switch
The thermal flow switch is a precise and reliable flow sensing device designed using the principle of heat diffusion. The flow sensing rod contains two temperature sensors, one of which needs to be heated, so there is a temperature difference between the two temperature sensors. This temperature is inversely proportional to the flow rate. The flow sensing rod and shell are made of stainless steel or engineering plastics, and there are no moving components, so there is no problem of mechanical wear. Two precision adjustable resistors are used to set the flow alarm and sensitivity.
Introduced by the flow switch manufacturer, compared with traditional vane-type flow switches and piston-type flow switches, it has higher sensitivity, the installation position is not restricted, there is no wear and tear of the movable mechanical structure, and it can measure liquids containing impurities. Different materials can be selected to be suitable for measuring in different acid-base liquid environments. The flow rate and flow velocity can be adjusted according to the needs of the site, and it is suitable for both large and small pipe diameters. It is suitable for hydropower generation, refrigeration and air conditioning, electronics, chemicals, shipbuilding, food, pharmaceuticals, optics, semiconductors and other industries.
3. FCS flow switch
The FCS flow switch is an electronic product developed for flow monitoring and control of hydropower station cooling systems and lubricating oil systems. Based on the principle of heat diffusion, this product improves the defects of complex structure, easy drift of set values, and instability in low flow states of traditional mechanical products, and can be used in various media flow monitoring occasions.
