On October 18, the opening ceremony of the Third Belt and Road International Cooperation Summit Forum was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Tanzania

Julino Hydropower Station Project

The Tanzania Julino Hydropower Station Project is located on the Rufiji River in Morogoro Region, Tanzania. The total installed capacity of the power station is 2115MW, with a total of 9 generating units with a single unit capacity of 235MW. Dongfang Electric provides the power station construction with services including the supply, installation, commissioning and trial operation of complete sets of equipment including turbines, generators and main inlet valves. The Julino Hydropower Station is one of the largest hydropower stations under construction in Tanzania and even in Africa. Upon completion, it will increase Tanzania's total installed capacity by 1.4 times, effectively promoting social and economic development. This project set a record for the largest single export of hydropower equipment by a Chinese brand at that time, and has a milestone significance in the history of China's hydropower equipment going global.

Ailita (Beijing) Instrument Co., Ltd. provided pressure transmitters for this project, 96 units, 36 hydrostatic level gauges, 12 magnetic flap level gauges, float level switches, differential pressure transmitters and other instruments. From the beginning of the project in 2020, including instrument selection and design modifications, until the completion of all instrument supplies in 2022, Ailita has contributed its share to the deepening cooperation between China and Tanzania in the Belt and Road Initiative.

Tanzania

Julius Nyerere Hydropower Station

Julius The Julius Nyerere Hydropower Station project has a total installed capacity of 2115 MW. Upon completion, it will surpass Egypt's Aswan High Dam (2100 MW), Mozambique's Cahora Bassa Dam (2075 MW), and Angola's Lauca Dam (2069 MW), and its influence in Africa is comparable to that of China's Three Gorges Project. Ailita also participated in this project, completing the supply of 3 sets of water level difference meters.

Guinea

Souapiti Hydropower Station

In 2018, Ailita supplied magnetic flap level gauges, magnetic float level switches, and float level gauges for the main equipment of the Souapiti Hydropower Station in Guinea.

Other Hydropower Projects

Ailita also participated in the supply of equipment for the Vietnam PMA pumped storage power station project, Vietnam BMG pumped storage power station, and Pakistan Kaloki pumped storage power station project, and other national key cooperation projects.
