In the structure of the paddle flow switch, the force required for the paddle to reset is replaced by magnetic force instead of a general spring, making the flow switch more stable and durable, and no longer sensitive to pressure peaks. This paddle flow switch has advantages such as instant response, low pressure drop, high pressure resistance, and more frequent switching. The on and off states depend solely on flow, independent of temperature or pressure.
I. Overview
The paddle flow switch utilizes the deflection of a paddle caused by liquid flow to test whether the liquid is in a flowing state. When the liquid is not flowing, the paddle is in its natural state. When the liquid flows, the impact force of the liquid causes the paddle to deflect, which in turn drives a microswitch through a transmission shaft to output a contact signal. In the structure of the paddle flow switch, the force required for the paddle to reset is replaced by magnetic force instead of a general spring, making the paddle flow switch more stable and durable, and no longer sensitive to pressure peaks. This paddle flow switch has advantages such as instant response, low pressure drop, high pressure resistance, and more frequent switching. The on and off states depend solely on flow, independent of temperature or pressure.
II. Working Principle
When the flow is zero, the paddle of the paddle flow switch is in its original position. When the fluid acts on the paddle, the paddle deflects and moves a cylindrical magnet upward through a transmission mechanism. At the set point, the magnet attracts a small permanent magnet connected to the mercury switch, thereby activating the switch.
III. Product Features
1. Water cut-off protection.
2. DN15-DN150 can be used.
3. Stainless steel paddle.
4. High cost performance.
5. Omron microswitch, high stability.
IV. Applicable Occasions
Paddle flow switches are used to measure the flow status of liquids passing through pipes, such as water, ethylene, ethylene glycol, or any fluid that is non-corrosive to brass and phosphor bronze and is not classified as a hazardous liquid. Typical applications include locations requiring interlocking action or "no-flow" protection.
1. Water flow switches are widely used in air conditioning, refrigeration, and other applications requiring water cut-off protection.
2. Used for measuring the flow status of liquids passing through pipes. For example: water, ethylene, ethylene glycol, and other liquids that are non-corrosive to copper.
3. Can be installed on horizontal or vertical pipes, but there must be a straight length of no less than 5 times the pipe diameter on both sides of the switch.
