After purchasing a flow switch from the manufacturer, users need to install and adjust it to ensure normal operation. There are several important points to consider during installation and adjustment. Today, flow switch manufacturer eletta will provide a detailed guide on how to adjust a flow switch.
1. Generally, flow switches are factory-adjusted to the minimum flow value. However, users need to adjust it to a value lower than the factory setting during use; otherwise, the switch may not return to the no-flow position.
2. To adjust the flow switch to a higher flow value, rotate the adjustment screw clockwise. To lower the flow value after increasing it from the factory setting, rotate the screw counter-clockwise.
3. After adjustment, the flow switch manufacturer recommends checking the set value. The set value should not be lower than the factory setting. This can be done by repeatedly actuating the main lever and listening for a "click" sound as the lever returns. If no sound is heard, rotate the adjustment screw clockwise until a "click" is heard.
4. Do not adjust the sealed setting screws. Any changes will cause the flow switch to malfunction or fail to operate correctly. This is a point that the flow switch manufacturer emphasizes.
The above explains how to adjust a flow switch. Caution is advised when adjusting the flow switch. The manufacturer recommends strictly following the instructions and avoiding unauthorized adjustments, as this may cause problems.
