Target flow switches offer many advantages, such as low pressure loss, good repeatability, and precise on/off setting via a knob. Users should ensure correct installation; below are some installation precautions for target flow switches.
1. Before installing a target flow switch, carefully inspect it for any deformation or damage. If any issues are found, address them promptly, such as consulting the manufacturer.
2. Target flow switches can be installed in vertical pipes with upward liquid flow or in horizontal pipes, but not in pipes with downward liquid flow. Installation in upward-flow pipes requires consideration of gravity.
3. Target flow switch installation also requires attention to wiring. Avoid striking the switch base plate with tools to prevent deformation and failure. Always disconnect the power supply during wiring or debugging to prevent electric shock and equipment damage.
4. When wiring a target flow switch, use dedicated grounding screws and avoid arbitrarily installing or removing screws, as this may cause controller deformation and failure. Also, prevent the flow switch from contacting the inner wall of the pipe or other flow restrictors, as this may prevent the flow switch from resetting properly.
