According to our partners, the above SOLAS regulations require that each firefighter must have at least two two-way portable wireless telephone devices as communication equipment and carry them on all SOLAS-compliant vessels.
This requirement must be fully implemented on all vessels complying with the SOLAS Convention no later than the first radio survey after July 1, 2018. For new vessels, this requirement is already in effect and being implemented. As the deadline approaches, and considering the number of units supplied to the market in a relatively short time, we are willing to support our partners in preparing for the demand for equipment supply to the market.
